Heavy Payload Cargo
SeaCell2 containers are designed to carry more payload and this benefits all shippers of heavy payload cargo, subject to legal road weight restrictions.
20ft SeaCell2 are built with a maximum gross weight of 30480kg older 20ft standard unit were designed for a capacity of 24,000kg, 40ft and 45ft Sea2 with a maximum gross weight of 34000kg compared with 30480kg of most standard 40 and 45ft containers.
The more angular sidewall corrugation of SeaCell2 results in a strong deflection resistant sidewall, standard 20ft units with their lazy corrugations are less resistant to deflection. This extra strength assists SeaCell2 in combating deflection when they are carrying bulk cargo’s.
SeaCell2’s are fully equipped with cargo lashing points which can also be used for liner bag anchorage.
See special marine container section for the 20ft bulk SeaCell2 which can be equipped this loading hatches in the roof and cargo discharge hatch in either the end wall or door.
